In Italia vi sono numerosi enti ed istituzioni nati per la conservazione e lo studio del costume e della moda, o ancora per la sua promozione a livello nazionale e internazionale.

Per questo motivo è stata creata una rassegna di Musei del costume presenti sull’intero territorio nazionale, che ben rappresenta l’importanza di questo settore non solo all’interno della regione Lombardia, e della città di Milano, ma anche in tutte le realtà italiane da sempre sensibili protagoniste degli studi sulla moda.

Per quanto riguarda la promozione del settore sono state individuate le maggiori Istituzioni interessate a diffondere la conoscenza delle nuove frontiere della moda sia in Italia che all’estero.

For an exaustive study of fashion is important to consider the organizations that deal with fashion studies and preservation (as for its historical side) and those that deal with its promotion.

For this reason a rewiev of the Museum of Costume has been created in Italy. This Museum not only represents fashion’s interest of Lombardia, specificly of Milan, but also of other italian regions that have always proven to be interested in the development and close examination of fashion studies.

As for the advertisment, the most important Institutions interested in the spreading of the new frontiers of the fashion have been picked out, in Italy and worldwide.
